MADAWASKA – Phyllis Ouellette, 62, passed away Dec. 19, 2011, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Sept. 12, 1950, in St. Agatha, the daughter of Maurice and Rolande (Marquis) Ouellette.

Phyllis attended St. John Valley Associates for 25 years.

She also enjoyed working part time at McDonald’s, Madawaska. Her two favorite pasttimes were playing bingo and bowling.

She is survived by her loving parents, Maurice and Rolande (Marquis) Ouellette of Frenchville; one sister, Diane Morneault and her husband, Mike, of Fort Kent; one brother, Michael Ouellette and his wife, Sharon, of Sicklerville, N.J.; her nephew, Michael Morneault and his fiancee, Nicole Hammond, of Saco; four nieces, Michelle Morneault of Fort Kent, Samantha Ouellette, Shelby Ouellette and Sarah Ouellette of Sicklerville, N.J.; and one great-nephew, Avery Michael Morneault of Saco.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at Lajoie Funeral Home. Interment will be held in the spring. For online condolences, please visit
