BANGOR – Gale Kosobud Poulin, 57, died Dec. 23, 2011, at her home. She was born Feb. 2, 1954, in Newport, R.I., daughter of Carl J. and Rosemary L. (Maciag) Kosobud.
Gale graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. Gale was married to Robert J. Poulin. She was a controller for Roof Systems of Maine for 20 years. Gale was a dedicated mom, and was devoted to spending free time with family and friends. She was an avid reader.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Matthew Scott Poulin of Bangor; two stepdaughters, Marla Estes and Tala Poulin of Waterville; three brothers, Carl Kosobud of Scarborough, Paul Kosobud, and his wife, Donna, of Dedham and Craig Kosobud and Irene Thomas of Eddington; a sister, Lori Jonson of Madison, Wis.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gale was predeceased by her husband; a brother, Jon Kosobud; and her grandparents.
A memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 768 Ohio St., Bangor. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.
