PORTLAND, Maine — Authorities have arrested a 41-year-old Baldwin man they say gave girls under the age of 18 money and drugs to perform sexual acts on each other in his presence.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office announced that Robert Brower was arrested Thursday on multiple prostitution and drug related charges.
He is being held on $25,000 bail pending arraignment scheduled for Friday.
Police say the alleged sex acts occurred within the past several months at Brower’s home and were referred to police by state child welfare officials by someone who was legally required to report possible child sexual abuse.
Police did not give the exact ages of the girls but said they are from the Portland area.
It was not clear if Brower had a lawyer.
What kind of sick person would treat young girls this way. Lock him up and throw away the key.
That’s right! It seems most of these “people” can’t be reformed. In the news lately there are a lot of repeat offenders!
What kind of kids would do things like that for drugs??? Yes punish him but shouldn’t the kids be punished too…………

I agree with you on sometimes it is hard for a kid to say not to an adult. We do not know that was the case here. I know when i was younger I dated a few girls that had been around the block while I was waiting in thee parking lot even tho i was a couple years older I am In no way defending this man. What he did was Wrong. Tell me the kids were like 10 or 12 and i would say 20 yrs at least but it they were 17 premiscus and were into drugs before them met him and proposition him to do acts in front of him Give them Equil time.

We have no details to go one some teen girls today have been around the block while this guy was waiting in the parking lot. They did it for drugs money . It dose not say they were forced, Raped or threatened. Yes he should be punished .
