CORNVILLE, Maine — A 21-year-old man was killed Friday night in a single-vehicle crash on West Ridge Road.
Joseph T. Faucher-Kuhlman, of Cornville, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a statement from the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office. There were no passengers, the Kennebec Journal reports.
Faucher-Kuhlman was driving north on West Ridge Road in a black 2010 Chevrolet truck, Det. Lt. Carl Gottardi wrote in the release.
At approximately 11:10 p.m., the truck struck a telephone pole and a utility trailer that was parked in a driveway.
The truck flipped over and landed on its roof. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and “subsequently pinned underneath the truck,” according to Gottardi.
The accident is still under investigation.

Wow…….this is an epidemic.
And how hard is it to put on a seatbelt?
Was just thinking the same exact thing… how sad.
Some people don’t want the big gubment telling them what to do.
People need to stop being obsessed with “big gubment” and start using some common sense.
Ejected from the vehicle ………. only to be pinned by it ??!!
Harsh.
Tragic.
speed limit is 25 and 35 mph on that
road…how does one flip a truck
going that fast???
Wear your seatbelt! I thought everyone got that memo? Here come the stories “I was in an accident and if I HAD been wearing my seatbelt I would have died”. No. no no no no a million times no. Wear your seatbelt! This kid would likely be waking up in his bed right now, instead…
