OLD TOWN, Maine — Officer Josh Loring went to the Regency Trailer Park last week to do follow-up interviews and ended up arresting two men, one of whom was found with a bag full of drug paraphernalia, Capt. Kyle Smart said Friday.
“He had a marijuana pipe and three pipes commonly used for smoking bath salts,” the captain said. “They checked his bag and found several more pipes used for smoking bath salts, and 15 needles.”
Bradley Bellfleur, 18, was charged about 1:30 p.m. Dec. 27 with illegal possession of hypodermics and the sale and use of drug paraphernalia, as well as violating his bail conditions, Smart said.
Alcohol swabs and plastic tubing also were found in his bag and taken as evidence, police said.
Loring went back to the same address on Lonnie Loop around 7:50 p.m. on the same day and found Richard Bellfleur, 21, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, Smart said.
Both Bellfleurs were arrested and taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor. Both since have been released, a jail official said.
