BANGOR, Maine — A kindergartner at Vine Street School was the winner in a drawing for a free ride to school in a police car.

Five-year-old Luke Saucier, who entered the drawing at the Bangor Fire Department’s Safety Day last October, was driven to school Monday by Bangor Police Community Relations Officer Jason McAmbley.

  1. I wish there was more information here; is this a learning program or?? What a great way to teach a younger generation to respect and work with police officers! Thanks to all who serve our community!

    1. First sentence:  “winner of a drawing”

Second sentence:  “at the Bangor Fire Department’s Safety Day last October”

      Not for nothing, but….LOL.

    2. Central Fire In Bangor, done at Halloween time, does a drawing for fire truck , police car.  Great program they do yearly

    1. I have witnessed a 7 year olds cuffed. I saw a female 1st grader loaded into a police car and driven to school for truency.  Right now, I know an 11 year old male that has gets transported by police unfortunately, quite often. He has spent quality time in and out of a youth center as well.

I know a Kindergardener that the police was called to the school because he “threatened a girl in a sexual manner”. He was then kicked out for 2 weeks. Knowing the situation, I do not believe the child even knew what sex was. He certainly couldn’t tell the difference between who he can hug and kiss and who he isn’t allowed to hug and kiss.

Children in my opinion should never be treated like adults even when commiting adult crimes. However, our judicial system still doesn’t practice therapy they practice punishment.

  2. The back story to this Officer friendly infomercial for the Bangor Police dept is the close relationship
Police Chief Gastia has with the FBI  after he went through  FBI  training recently and is a graduate of the FBI  Academy.

The FBI  decided to create the  Adopt A School program along with its other citizen indoctrination programs including the Infra Gard and Citizen Academies.
These programs were created with an eye towards the FBI realizing it needed to become pro active after evidence surfaced they had been involved with the Kennedy – King assassinations , pedophilia, voter fraud and the creation of the 1993 1st World Trade Center bombing and Oklahoma City bombing.

The FBI  knows teachers will not introduce critical thinking into their students by creating a diverse study plan that includes  looking at the history of crimes committed by FBI agents.
The FBI  and the Bangor Police now have their foot in the door of your child’s classroom.
Teachers say there are not materials dealing with crimes committed by FBI  agents and they also do not want to loose their job. I say click the link.
