PITTSFIELD, Maine — Pittsfield Town Council will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, to discuss an upcoming public hearing on a Community Development Block Grant.
The CDBG Economic Development Program Block Grant would be for Argo Marketing Group, a new Lewiston-based business that just opened an office in Pittsfield.
The grant will assist the company with renovations and fully equipping a modern state-of-the-art call center, and provide working capital.
The public hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17. No other business will be discussed.
A separate public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 24.
