MATTAWAMKEAG – Noel A. Goulet, 76, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 10, 2011, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1935, in Notre Dame Du Lac, Quebec, the son of Pierre and Mary (Moreau) Goulet.
Noel was a woodsman. He loved making maple syrup and playing BINGO. He was a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by five children, John Goulet of Old Orchard Beach, Jack Goulet of Pelham, N.H., Nicole Williams of Melbourne, Fla., Robert Noel Goulet of Medway and Priscilla Goulet of Mattawamkeag; three brothers, three sisters, 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Lincoln, with the Rev Myles Cyr celebrant. There will be a luncheon after the Mass.
