MILLINOCKET and BREWER – John A. Day, 58, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 12, 1953, in Bangor, son of Reginald and Mary (Murphy) Day.
John worked at Great Northern Paper Co. for several years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and listening to music.
John is survived by his mother, Mary E. Martin of Millinocket; three brothers, James Day of Woodville, Joseph Martin of Millinocket and Mark Martin of East Millinocket; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father and his stepfather.
