PORTLAND, Maine — Police have arrested a Portland man on charges of robbing of pharmacy.
Police say 57-year-old Paul Ramsey is accused of robbing a CVS pharmacy on Friday afternoon.
Authorities say he demanded prescription medication and made off with several bottles of pills.
Police say they found a man at a nearby intersection fitting the suspect’s description and matching the video surveillance footage. Police also recovered the medication.

Paul, it’s now time to take your medicine. It’s not the kind you want but it’s the kind the citizens want!
I can remember a time not too long ago when these stories and most of the crimes you see reported were commited elsewhere, not often in Maine. I can also remember when in Aroostook county there was one murder reported probably every 10 years….even that changed this far north. Sad.
