PORTLAND, Maine — Police have arrested a Portland man on charges of robbing of pharmacy.

Police say 57-year-old Paul Ramsey is accused of robbing a CVS pharmacy on Friday afternoon.

Authorities say he demanded prescription medication and made off with several bottles of pills.

Police say they found a man at a nearby intersection fitting the suspect’s description and matching the video surveillance footage. Police also recovered the medication.

  2. I can remember a time not too long ago when these stories and most of the crimes you see reported were commited elsewhere, not often in Maine. I can also remember when in Aroostook county there was one murder reported probably every 10 years….even that changed this far north. Sad.
