WATERVILLE, Maine — An Oakland man was arrested over the weekend after Waterville police say he hit his wife.
Waterville police Sgt. Alan Main said Monday that police arrested Christopher Chubbuck, 26, on Sunday afternoon at the Budget Host Inn on Kennedy Memorial Drive.
Main said the woman suffered bruises in the incident, but did not require any medical attention.
Chubbuck faces a misdemeanor Class D charge of domestic violence assault, and he was released on bail Sunday, the sergeant said. He faces up to a year in jail if convicted.

Man wants a job with FBI, instead gets 80 months in jail
If you’re going to apply to the FBI for a job, you don’t want to have any skeletons in your closet.
Or child pornography on your computer.
A 34-year-old DeKalb man will have nearly seven years to think about his mistake.
U.S. District Judge Frederick Kapala recently sentenced
Dominick Pelletier to 80 months in prison without parole after he
pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography that had crossed state
lines.
AGAIN, your comment has nothing to do with the article, this incident happened in Waterville, not Bangor…
As for the nonsensical article that you cited, it goes directly against your earlier posts complaining about the FBI, doesn’t it?
But I’ve given up on expecting you to use (or even understand) logic.
….
Thought for a second they wanted a family weekend in jail.

A closer look I see her last name is Chubbock not Chubbuck
Ernestine is a Chubbuck. I know the family. BDN got it wrong as usual. She use to be a sweet kid.
Hope he gets the full year in jail ( yeah right)
