AUGUSTA, Maine — Facebook is coming to Maine’s capital city to teach owners of small businesses how to increase their traffic and sales by using the social medium.
Facebook will be at the Augusta Civic Center on Tuesday at U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe’s invitation. The Maine Republican will also deliver remarks at the “Small Business Boost” event, which is co-hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and National Federation of Independent Business.
Snowe, a member of the Senate Small Business Committee, says high-tech companies like Facebook will help the nation lead the way in innovation and information technology.

Time for Snowe to Go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How many more millions of dollars does she want to take ?
SNOWE MUST GO…She’s part of the problem in DC. Big deal she lands BIW contracts, they’d have gotten them w/o her help.Susan helps more the Snowe, when is her trial coming up or did she and her hubby pay to have it swept under the rug…?? Where’s the outrage about her scandal??
What has Snowe been charged with?
It’s not her scandal, it’s her husband’s law group that is in trouble. Not even a nice try. I’d rather have someone with reason and tenure than another “the sky is falling!” Tea Party puppet.
Get Josh Tardy to run for US Senate, get her to heck out
I wouldn’t vote for Josh Tardy for anything. The Tea Party is going to go away, soon hopefully.
That face is a little scary for Facebook.
This story should read,Snowe, Collins, Lepage and others will meet at the
“Small Business Boost” event with their hands out and pocket books open.
Note to Facebook. If you want to help increase folk’s sales don’t use Olympia’s face. How about Heidi Klum’s?
