BANGOR – Dorothy A. Cayford, 85, died Jan. 23, 2012, at a Bangor health care center. She was born April 7, 1926, in Massachusetts, the daughter of Gorham and Nellie (Fletcher) Stratton.
Surviving are three children, Robert Cayford of Bangor, Karen Campbell and her husband, Roger, of Glenburn and Deanna Rideout and her husband, Bruce, of Raleigh, N.C.; grandchildren, Teari Cayford of Saco, Dawn Marie Partin and her husband, Chris, of North Carolina, Christi Payne and her husband, Bob, of Virginia, Robert Bartlett II and his wife, Nancy, of Pittsfield, N.H., Rhonda Bartlett Boos and her husband, Craig, of New Jersey, Phillip Cayford and Adam Campbell, both of Bangor, Kris Campbell of Glenburn and Lori Libby’s husband, Bill, of Florida; many great-grandchildren; one brother, Earl Stratton and his wife, Ellie, of Connecticut; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Phillip; a son, Phillip Jr.; a granddaughter, Lori Libby; a sister and brother-in-law, Ella and Hud Sylvester; and by a brother, Gorham Stratton.
