BANGOR, Maine — Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul will visit Bangor, Waterville and Lewiston on Friday and appear in southern Maine on Saturday, his campaign said.
The Texas congressman will appear at the Brick Church at the corner of Union and Main streets in Bangor at 10 a.m. Friday. He will be at Colby College’s Ostrove Auditorium in Waterville at 3 p.m. and finish the day in Lewiston at the Ramada Inn on Pleasant Street at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday’s schedule starts with a speaking engagement at the University of Southern Maine’s Hastings Formal Lounge in Gorham at 11 a.m. From there, Paul will head to Freeport to speak at the town square overlooking the L.L. Bean Mall at 95 Main St. at 1:30 p.m. Paul is tentatively scheduled to speak at the Alfred Town Hall on Saco Road at 5 p.m.

Legalize Hemp. he never said legalize drugs.. that would be up to the states but we need industrial hemp. we borrow money from China to buy hemp from Romania that makes no sense when we can plant seed and get it for free. well jobs for american farmers and manufacturing to make the Hemp Products like Parachutes and fishing nets and clothes and paper and whatever else.. I was an Obama Independent in 08, Ron Paul has been the most consistent and logical Candidate for this 2012 election.
Ron Paul needs to pay a visit to Millinocket to prove to Northern Maine what he’s all about.
He knows the federal issues that affect Northern Maine, and he knows the Republican contact point in Millinocket, but to date, not one of his staffers have returned calls or emails.
While he brings a lot to the table, many Northern Mainers are still undecided…
Ron Paul talks about what interests me. End the Fed; end all war oversees and bring the troops home; end the Drug War which is destroying our country; use the Constitution as the law of the land; end the Department of Education and leave it to the states; invest instead in building our roads and bridges and our manufacturing; these are all good ideas which the other candidates who are backed by the bankers will never talk about. He is a decent man particularly compared to the others.
