WILTON, Maine — Police have released the name of the second victim in a double-fatal crash in Wilton earlier this week, but the exact cause remains under investigation.
The other victim was identified Tuesday as Joseph Breton of Jay.
Police say 44-year-old David Miller of Wilton was driving his pickup truck east at about 4 p.m. Monday when it collided head-on with a westbound car driven by the 36-year-old Breton. Breton died at the scene.
Miller’s passenger, his mother, 80-year-old mother Meta Sevigny of Farmington, also died.
Miller and Breton’s passenger were injured. The driver of a third vehicle involved in the accident was unhurt.
Police tell the Sun Journal that icy roads may have been a factor.
