FAIRFIELD, Maine — A local man is accused of dragging his girlfriend by the hair and holding a knife to the throat of another woman.
David Andre Gordon, 29, of Fairfield was arrested Wednesday night on charges of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, domestic violence terrorizing and domestic assault. He was taken to Somerset County Jail in Madison.
Fairfield police Sgt. Matthew Bard said Gordon dragged his girlfriend by her hair into another room and threatened to kill both his girlfriend and her friend.
“The friend of the girlfriend was in the room sticking up for her friend,” said Bard. “He told her to mind her business and then held a knife to her throat.”
Bard said the friend went into another room and called police from her cell phone just before 8 p.m.
When police arrived at Gordon’s Summit Street apartment, Bard said Gordon and his girlfriend were in a “very mild argument at that point. The other female explained what was going on. It was information to cause concern that we took him into custody.”
Gordon was still at Somerset County Jail on Thursday night.

I’m thinking that the madness sure as heck is increasing, but then again, the media doesn’t print stories about the gentleman who helped the little old lady carry her groceries to the car, or the retired lady down the street who volunteered at the school reading books to kids :( Sometimes I wish they would print the less interesting stories just so it wouldn’t make the world look so negative

I have a gut feeling you’re right, but OTW (BELOW) has the right idea. I’d say keep him locked up, make sure he has no access to firearms before he is let go. He’s a good candidate to kill someone.

David Andre Gordon, 29 would be a good addition to the Don’t Date Him website. To the unfortunate women involved with him: Don’t take him back, don’t let him blame you for his actions, he will never make things right. A person who would do that is not a real man.

This has got the Lake Case in Dexter written all over it. Will anyone be surprised to read how this guy was out on bail, went back to her house and killed them all?? It never ceases to amaze me about these women that live with abusers.. I met a woman she was with a sex offender and was very abused by him, sexually, mentally, and physically.. He was teaching himself to be a piercer, he had gauged out his ears had a tongue ring eye brow rings nipple rings and so on and so forth.. He forced her to get genital piercings that were not done right.. He literately tied her down and did this to her.. I got her out of the mess and told her she could live here rent free not pay for anything but she would have to be a maid so to speak. I have ocd and i keep a clean house but chores like washing my floors i cant do so pretty much once a week that’s her job.. I also told her she would have to bank her money she got from her job at the doughnut shop she agreed.. 2 weeks went by and she got her second paycheck and asshat came knocking she went back to him he quit his job spent all her money and kept her tied up so she couldn’t go out of the house, she was cut off from the outside world not able to speak to no one.. Cops were called but they did nothing except threaten to lock me up if i continued to harass them.. One day he left the house and i went over and found her shackled to the futon she had soiled herself and was crying help i went home got bolt cutters and cut her out she never went back.. Again cops were called and nothing was done. They never even responded.. She still lives with me and she is happier than she has ever been but she has many different psychological illnesses like ptsd and so on. Now she cant leave the house or be around people she cant even go shopping at wal mart without taking zanax to calm her nerves.. This is what these men do to their women.. This guy went on to marry and have a child his wife has left him and she is in a institution trying to get her sanity back.. Why is he not in jail? Why do the cops coddle him.. And why is he permitted to have a child. He is a sex offender. He raped his own sister at knife point.. This needs to be addressed before more people get hurt.. Since his wife is in an assylum he has full custody of this child and is still not working he is on welfare and gets everything paid for plus gets money from the state.. They pay his rent light bill and everything.. This is not right..
These two will be right back at it this weekend. Did she get an order for him to stay away from her? Real nice guy….holding a knife to his girlfriend and other friend….suggestion for girlfriend….get rid of this guy. Why the heck would you ever want to put up with a guy like that?
