KENDUSKEAG – David A. Spinney, 56, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1955, in Kenduskeag, the son of Guy and Alma (Lovely) Spinney.
David grew up in Kenduskeag and attended local schools. He loved his career as a mechanic and car detailer. David was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, camping and motorcycle riding. He will always be remembered for his carefree personality.
David is survived by his children, Jessica Reynolds and her husband, Oscar, and their children, Oscar and Oakley, of Etna, Jonathan “Boy” Spinney and his partner, Brad Erickson, of Bangor and Jeremy “Bud” Spinney and his wife, Melissa, and their daughter, Hailey, of Exeter; sister, Sheila Doughty and her husband, Bryan, and their children, Christopher and Mathew, of Kenduskeag; brother, Dana Spinney and his wife, Kathy, and their children, Tony and Mandy; and best friend and cousin, Kim Spinney. David was predeceased by his parents.
Interment will be held in the spring at Kenduskeag Village Cemetery. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
