FORT KENT – Simone (Lamarre) Pelletier died peacefully Feb. 1, 2012, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born May 19, 1933, in Wallagrass, daughter of Fred and Rose (Saucier) Lamarre.

Simone is survived by her three daughters, Peggy Pelletier of Cheshire, Conn., Polly Ann Brown of Plainville, Conn., and Dawn Higgins of Spring, Texas; one son, Alan and his wife, Christine Pelletier, of Waterbury, Conn.; four grandchildren, Shawn Brown, Cheryl St. Amant, Jennifer Higgins and Michael Pelletier; three great-grandchildren, Kassandra Grant, Adriana Brown and Nathan Fredrick McCormick; one brother, Fred Lamarre; one sister, Dolly Dufour; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Simone was predeceased by her husband, Addis Pelletier, in 1996; two daughters, Patricia Boutiller, in 1994, and Beverly Pelletier, in 2002; one grandson, Timothy Lee Brown, in 2002; several brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be held May 16 in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are a service of Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent.
