AUGUSTA, Maine — Maj. Gen. John W. Libby, retired, adjutant general of the Maine National Guard, has announced promotions to the designated ranks for these Maine Army National Guard soldiers:
• John Wells IV, staff sergeant, Presque Isle, 133rd Forward Support Company.
• Wade Walker, sergeant, East Machias, Detachment 2, 1136th Transportation Company.
• Andrew Walter, private first class, Unity, 488th Military Police Company.
• Jonathan Weeks, staff sergeant, Ellsworth, Company B, 3/172d Infantry (Mountain).
The promotions were made in January.
