Now that the New England Patriots have failed in their quest to win the Super Bowl, New England fans turn their eyes to the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics and the Red Sox.
Which team has the best chance to win a championship? Why?
How long will it take for the Patriots to earn another Super Bowl shot? What do they need to address in the off-season?

The Celtics have no realistic shot. They will make the playoffs, but are too old and don’t have the quality depth to beat the top tier teams.
If the good Sox pitchers return to form and they find some additional pitching help they will have a good chance with the offense they already have.
The Bruins have the best chance to win and repeating in the NHL is rare. They have a solid defense, plenty of offensive firepower, and some guy named Tim Thomas between the pipes. It would be nice to see them add another offensive weapon, especially if Horton continues to miss time.
If the Sox can manage to pick up Oswalt or another solid starter for the #4 slot, I might rethink my stance and give the Sox a slight nod.
Yep, the New England Patriots were a failure this year. Only one team did better then they did and with a better balanced team. Wow, what a failure they are.
As much as I can’t stand Mahoney, he didn’t say the Patriots were a failure. He said they failed in their quest to win a Superbowl.
Celtics – No Chance (old)
Red Sox – No Chance (save me the ifs and buts) the two teams that finished ahead of them last year got better and the sox got worse.
Bruins – if they don’t win it would be a suprise (they are loaded) and i’m a Montreal fan.
