LINCOLN – Marilyn Gerry Morrison passed away peacefully Feb. 11, 2012, at her home. She was born March 4, 1932, in Millinocket, the daughter of R. Albert and Elsie (Crawford) Gerry.

Marilyn was a graduate of Stearns High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Gorham State Teachers College in 1953. After moving to Lincoln to teach school, Marilyn met and married Roger B. Morrison. They recently celebrated 55 years of marriage. Marilyn was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Marilyn was very knowledgeable in history and the proper words to use in the English language. She had a good singing voice and loved singing church hymns. She enjoyed her home with husband Roger and children on Clark Street, Lincoln, and the view of Mount Katahdin from her kitchen window.

In addition to her devoted husband, Roger, Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Sara Dubay and husband, Michael; sons, William, Jason, and Adam and his wife, Ann; grandchildren, William, Matthew, Amie, Roger, Paige, Sydney, Abigail, Lauren and Joshua; and her loving sister, Jean Whirty. She was predeceased by her parents; and a grandson, Jared.
