EXETER – Muriel M. Farnham, 79, died Feb. 11, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 10, 1932, in Sherman, the daughter of Albion and Thelma (Nye) Grout.
She is survived by three sons, Doug and his wife, Paula Farnham, of North Carolina, Dennis and his wife, Melissa Farnham, and Danny Farnham of Exeter; one daughter, Debra Murdock and her partner, Rick Brown, of Corinna; one daughter-in-law, Phyllis Farnham of North Carolina; one sister, Josephine Bailey of New Sharon; one brother, Jr. Grout of New Hampshire; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lyle; and one son, Dale.
Private services for the family will be held in the spring. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
