BREWER – George A. Watson III, 52, passed away Feb. 14, 2012, surrounded by his family and friends at his home. He was born June 5, 1959, in Bangor, the son of George A. Watson Jr. and Anita L. (Harnish) Watson.

He is survived by his life partner, Charles W. Cramer “Yoda” of Brewer; his brother, Brent A. Watson and his wife, Linda; nephew, Ryan of Reading, Pa.; his son, Ben Asay and his wife, Cassie, and their son, Thatcher and daughter, Kendellyn; his daughter, Jaime Smalley and her husband, Jacob, and four children, Abigail, Jacob Jr., Aglaidia “Rosa” and Noah; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his niece, Kay Watson.

George worked at Brewer Rehabilitation and Living Center for 10 years as a nutritional food service manager as well as several other restaurants in the local area previously. George was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as working on cars, working on his house, and camping with family and friends.

A graveside service will be held July 3 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport, for both George A. Watson III and his father, George A. Watson Jr. Those who wish to remember George may make gifts in support of his family to Brent Watson or Charles Cramer, 201 Eastern Ave., Brewer, ME 04412.
