HOOVER, Ala. — Hoover police say a naked driver led police on a low-speed chase through Hoover, hitting up to eight vehicles along the way.
WBRC reports that the incident began Monday afternoon at a Ford dealership when the man hit two cars. He fled the scene in a car and was followed by a police officer.
Police say he hit additional cars along the way before being pulled from his car at gunpoint. It was then that police realized he wasn’t wearing any clothing.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment for minor injuries. His name was not released.
No one was seriously injured in the wrecks.

Naked people are good taser practice targets. Always wear thick clothing if you are doing anything that might result in a police chase.

When I was still working I did a lot of testing in Coal mines, so got to knwo the Hoovr area of AL pretty good. I am surprised this made teh news. It is not that unusual in that part fo teh country..lol..don’t get me wrong, I lvoe those boys from AL, but strange things happen down that way.
poleaxed, if you know the Hoover area well then you know it’s an upscale suburb of Birmingham. Now if this had happened in Bessemer or Ensley I wouldn’t have been surprised at all. The wreck happened at the intersection of Hwys 150 and 31 (The Galleria intersection).
