VANCEBORO – Cecele Eileen Crandlemire, 93, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Northwestern Medical Center, St. Albans, Vt. Cecele was born Feb. 11, 1919, in Newport, Vt., daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Hurditch) Vincent.

She married Reginald Crandlemire, April 7, 1939, in Newport, N.H. Cecele was a member of Vanceboro Methodist Church and Orion Chapter No. 45 Order of the Eastern Star, Calais.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, Reginald “Reg” Crandlemire, Feb. 26, 2010; sister, Thelma; brother, Francis; and granddaughter, Connie Wight. Surviving are her two children, Richard A. Crandlemire and his wife, Pauline, of Richford, Vt., where Cecele had been spending the winter months, and Jean Hogan and her husband, Al, of Vanceboro; three grandchildren, C. Pitt Crandlemire II and his wife, Radonna, of Reading, Mass., Michael Hogan of Revere, Mass., and Timothy Hogan and his wife, Bonnie, of Rochester, N.H.; 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Stanley Vincent and his wife, Pauline, of North Hampton, Mass.; many nieces and nephews.

A combined graveside service for Cecele and Reg will be held in the spring at Vanceboro Cemetery.
