BELFAST – Lisa A. Peasley, 41, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. Lisa was born Jan. 7, 1971, at Kaiser’s Hospital, Fontana, Calif., daughter of Michael and Ruth Peasley.
Lisa grew up in Searsport, where she attended school. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, as well as hunting and fishing. Lisa was always known for her contagious laugh and playing jokes on others. She worked for years in health care and cared deeply for each of her patients. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her grandmother, Mary T. Peasley of Bangor; parents, Michael and Ruth Peasley of Searsport; sister, Brandy Peasley and John Lavway of Searsport; daughter, Felicia (Peasley) Moulton and husband, Darren, of Searsport; son, Brandon Peasley and his girlfriend, Leah Ward, of Belmont; nephew, Spencer Lavway of Searsport; grandchildren, Hanna and Darren Moulton Jr. of Searsport; as well as many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Eugene and Rebecca Boughey; grandfather, Kermit L. Peasley; and aunt and uncle, Sandra and Jim Field.
Family and friends will gather for visitation 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main St., Searsport.
