BANGOR – Jerome “Jerry” M. Mishou, 77, died Feb. 27, 2012, at a Bangor health care center. He was born Dec. 11, 1934, in Old Town, son of Jerome M. and Annie L. (McIninch) Mishou.
Jerry graduated from Old Town High School. His career consisted of various sales and leadership positions, and one in particular with Prudential Insurance in California. Jerry was honored to receive an award for number one salesman of the year with Prudential of California. Jerry had a special daily relationship with his sister, Geri. He enjoyed collecting nautical items, watching a NASCAR race or old movies, and always lending a hand to those in need.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Geri Mishou of Glenburn; children, Jay Mishou and his wife, Susan, of Bangor, Celeste Wadlington and her husband, Charles “Chuck,” of Topsham, Wayne Mishou and his wife, Christine, of Bangor and Michelle Klawer and her husband, Allan, of South Carolina; six grandchildren, Erika Miller and her husband, John, of Dedham, Corey Quinn and his fiancee, Cristy, of Charleston, Timothy Klawer and his wife, Lily, of South Carolina, Megan Foisy and her husband, Jaban, of Bangor, Michael Klawer of South Carolina and Nicole Wadlington of Topsham; several great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Fernald Madden of Milford; and special friends, Richard and Sally Pendleton of Bangor. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Mishou; and one sister, Ernestine Madden.
A private burial service will be held later during the summer.
