YORK, Maine — A man’s body was found in the York River early Tuesday morning and police are investigating.
A state police dispatcher confirmed the man’s body was found at about 7:30 a.m. The man’s name is not being released pending family notification.
The Maine Warden Service, Maine Marine Service and state medical examiner are investigating.

BDN: Too little and too late. There’s more on the PPH site. Apparently it was a suicide. State police are saying no foul play. Footsteps leading from the car, but not back. The elderly man was despondent. :(
