HOULTON – Margaret M. Roberts, 97, died March 8, 2012, at a local health care facility. She was born Jan. 17, 1915, in Littleton, the daughter of Gardiner and Blanche (Sheain) Logan.
Margaret was a member of St. Mary of the Visitation Church and served on St. Mary’s Council of Catholic Women.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Beaulieu and her husband, Edmund, of Brewer; daughter-in-law, Irma Roberts of Connecticut; five grandchildren, Deborah Cahill and her husband, Geoff, of West Suffield, Conn., Linda Chasnov and her husband, David, of Plymouth, Mass., Diane Farnham and her husband, Mark, of Hermon, Michael Beaulieu and his wife, Evelyn, of Orono and Steve Beaulieu of Brewer; four great-grandchildren, Brendan Cahill, Erin Cahill, Brett Chasnov and Tyler Chasnov; special cousins, Madolyn Boutlier and Phyllis Benn; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald B. Roberts; her son, Donald G. Roberts; her brother, Lester Logan; and her sister, Martha Morrison.
Friends may call 10 a.m. Monday at Dunn Funeral Home until the time of departure for the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Visitation Church with the Rev. David Raymond, celebrant. Spring interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
