AUGUSTA, Maine — An Augusta teenager is facing two counts of robbery for allegedly robbing two pharmacies of prescription painkillers last month.
Police say 18-year-old Carmine Fazzi is being held in New York on $100,000 bail after his arrest on an assault charge in New York. In Maine, he is charged with robbing two drug stores in Augusta on Feb. 13 and Feb. 20.
Police told the Kennebec Journal that a second teenager, 18-year-old Daniel Rines of Pittston, was also charged with one count of robbery for his alleged role in one of the robberies. He was released on bail and ordered to stay away from Fazzi.

Hard time for hard crimes.
I love what 18 year olds are capable of these days. I have only been away from 18 but a few years but I will tell you what, back then parents put the fear of God into you and kept you the heck away from trouble like this. What a little punk. Both of em’.
Why the catch and release? for being a fine upstanding citizen?
Apparently the New York mob didn’t want Little Carmine because he’s stupid and reckless. Uh, I’ll go to Maine……beat it.
just 18 they may see a real week in jail
how about they lock these kids up all alone for say six weeks no phone no mom no friends last chance when they get out no more screw ups or 5 years jail for real ya know real time
They hardly give real time for anything any more. We pay for jails and judges let the dregs of society loose every time they get caught. Let a poor old man in Palmyra build a porch and all he&& breaks loose. What gives?
