BRUNSWICK, Maine — A 20-year-old Brunswick man has been indicted for gross sexual assault in a case involving a 13-year-old Topsham girl.

Brady Chase, 20, of Brunswick, was 18 in 2010 when he allegedly met the girl through Facebook or Skype, according to Detective Martin Rinaldi of the Brunswick Police Department, who investigated the incident.

Chase allegedly corresponded with the girl through the Internet and then met her several times in Brunswick from November to December 2010.

“During one of the occasions, he engaged in sexual acts with her,” Rinaldi said. “She was 13 at the time, which by statute is illegal.”

Chase also was indicted for Class C unlawful sexual contact, which Rinaldi said results from incidents that allegedly occurred after the girl’s 14th birthday.

  1. Brady Chase…why don’t you play with some girls your own age, not your mental age?    Or how about someone with enough maturity to know what they are really involved in?

Gross sexual assault and “sexual acts” occurred.  Does this 13-year-old child have any kind of adult supervision?  We know Mr. Chase doesn’t.   This seems to have gone on for some length of time.   Anybody paying attention out there?
