WATERVILLE, Maine — A Waterville man was arrested twice in less than 24 hours after he assaulted his girlfriend and violated his conditions of release by returning to their home, police said Monday.
Ghe Grip, 32, was arrested Sunday night for domestic violence assault, according to Deputy Chief Charles Rumsey.
Grip and the woman live together, Rumsey said, and after he was arrested and bailed on the domestic violence charge, part of the conditions of release prohibited him from returning to the home or having contact with the victim.
Grip violated both of those conditions by returning, Rumsey said, and police came back to the residence at 2:30 a.m. Monday after receiving a report that he was there.
Grip was arrested again and taken to jail. There was no altercation between Grip and his girlfriend, Rimsey said.
Grip has an assault conviction on his record, Rumsey said, making this domestic violence assault charge a felony. He faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

the woman forgave him, bailed him out and took him home………just saying. She can’t be all that if she’s living with him!!
Is any one going to take the bet that it was his “girlfriend” who bailed him out? If he goes to jail for 5 years (ya right) I hope he gets a good hair cut!
