CARIBOU – Elizabeth Helen Wing, 88, wife of the late Edward A. Wing, died March 13, 2012, at a Caribou nursing facility. She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Caribou, daughter of the late Peter and Bertha (Durost) Page.

Mrs. Wing was employed by Birds Eye Division of General Foods, Caribou, for more than 30 years. She was a longtime member of Caribou United Baptist Church, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Wing is survived by her three sons, Richard Wing and his wife, Lois, of Caribou, Ronald Wing of Presque Isle and Randy Wing and his fiancee, Bridget Benson, of St. Albans; one sister, Linda Hott of Austintown, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Irene Wilcox and her husband, Andy, Deborah Smith and her husband, Gregg, Richard Wing II and his wife, Stephanie, Adriana, Travis, Stacey, Roxanne, Troy, Melissa, Wendy and Brooke Ann Wing; 23 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, in 2009; a sister, Dorothy Ahern; and two brothers, Edwin and Victor Page.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 16, with the Rev. John Kiehn officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. After the service all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at Caribou Inn and Convention Center.
