CALAIS – Marjorie Cecilia Morrison, 92, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. Marjorie was born June 29, 1919, in Kingman, daughter of the late Edmond and Mary (Gass) Meaghear.
After graduating school in New Brunswick, she worked as a receptionist for a Calais dentist, Dr. Bunker; as a service representative for the telephone company; and last as a sales clerk for Sears, Calais. She married Lloyd Morrison, May 18, 1957. Marjorie was a communicant of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Calais, and enjoyed reading and traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Lloyd, in 2005.
Surviving are her cousins, William Barter of Chezzetcook, Nova Scotia, and Joyce McFarlane of St. Andrews, New Brunswick; and her special friend and caregiver, Nancy McCann of St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
