MILLINOCKET – Terry A. Dewley, 61, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 3, 1950, in Fort Fairfield, the oldest son of Harriett M. (Preble) Dewley.
He grew up and attended school in Millinocket, graduating from Stearns High School in 1969. Terry furthered his education at Husson College. He worked for his grandfather, C.W. Preble. Terry loved fly-fishing and hunting with his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time at the family camp at South Twin Lake.
In addition to his mother, Harriett Dewley of Millinocket, Terry is survived by his brother, Dirk Dewley and wife, Tammy, of Millinocket; two special nieces, Bobbi Jo Pound and Staci Michaud and her husband, David; four special nephews, Eric, Zachary, Tyler and Bradley Dewley; and two great-nephews, Dylan Dewley and Emerson Michaud. Terry was predeceased by his father, Chet Dewley; and his sister, Joy Marie.
Terry’s wishes were to have a burial service in the spring, which will be announced at a later date.
