SACO, Maine — It’s still winter, but Maine’s largest amusement and water park is preparing to hire 250 workers for the summer season ahead.

Funtown Splashtown USA in Saco is holding a job fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, at the Ramada in Saco.

Seasonal positions include ride operators, water slide attendants, lifeguards, supervisors, cashiers, game attendants and food servers.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

  1.  They better hold the job fair in Texas in order to get the fresh ones just as they cross the border.

     Nobody here wants to work.

    1. Hard to believe that you found a way to turn a story about summer jobs for kids into some kind of racist thing.

        There aren’t many illegal aliens crossing the Canadian border.

  2. If it doesn’t involve sitting on one’s duff for $40/hr supervising folks then the “there aren’t any jobs here” crowd isn’t interested.

      Why work when Bangorian and his/her/it’s entitlement system will feed you, clothe you, house you, keep you healthy, and in some instances, give you a free daily high.
