CONCORD, N.H. — A second, more restrictive voter identification bill is up for a vote in the New Hampshire Senate.
The Senate votes Wednesday on a bill that would require voters to be state residents and to prove their citizenship to register for voting.
Anyone voting in New Hampshire would have to register their vehicle in the state and get a New Hampshire driver’s license in addition to other resident requirements.
The Senate has already passed a similar voter identification bill 18-5 but without the provisions requiring residency or citizenship. It also created a voting-specific identification card for voters without photo identification.

Failing in Maine, the ROBthePUBLICans have moved their campaign to NH…but they’ll be back.
More GOP/Teabag/ALEC/Koch Bros. antiAmerican antiFreedom voter suppression hoo hah.
yessah
Why don’t you want proof, that someone has the right to vote in Maine or your district??? I’m puzzled as to why you don’t want someone to prove they are from Maine to vote in Maine elections.. I know for a fact that every Mainer above the age of 18 has a ID of some sort…. Do you really take pleasure in knowing that you only can win by cheating, then bragging how good you were.. Democrats are strange creatures.
I know for a fact that every Mainer above the age of 18 has a ID of some sort….
So why do we need another?
NH accepts Maine ID’s to vote in their state as long as the Mainer claims they are moving there. does that make sense to you.. They are not asking for additional ID’s they just want to ID voters.
The Maine Democrats will have to find another 2nd State to Vote.. Bus loads of Democratic Voters always make it to the elections in NH… They think it’s OK to Cheast to promote their communistic ideals… I hope it passes. Pution like the Dems hate fair elections… We must win at any cost.
