PORTLAND, Maine — A Portland man who reportedly violated his probation for a late-night pizza run was arrested again Tuesday for indecent conduct, according to police.

Steven Ricci, 48, who is on probation for indecent conduct, was arrested Tuesday morning at his residence, Lt. Gary Rogers told the Bangor Daily News.

Police received a complaint Monday afternoon of indecent conduct on the Fore River Sanctuary Trail, the scene of Ricci’s original crime, according to Rogers.

The alleged witnesses in this case were two adults who had young children with them, Rogers said.

After officers met with the witnesses, interviewed Ricci and consulted with the District Attorney’s Office, they arrested him and took him to jail and charged him with a probation violation.

Ricci was convicted of masturbating in front of a woman last summer on the Fore River trail. Rogers said he allegedly masturbated in front of the two adults and young children on the trail Monday.

Ricci was arrested March 2 after police spotted him violating his dusk-to-dawn curfew by going out for a late-night pizza.

    1. ….he is going to go on and on until the little things (crimes) just don’t give that thrill and attention anymore so he will go on to bigger and badder crime and I hope he DOES end up doing it in front of the wrong people….sweet unexpensive justice….

      1. Since we know he can’t be cured w/o castration, then we can dream that in an unPC world, that would be perfect. But the ‘real world, like the computer, “says no”. (A reference to the BBC show ‘Little Britain’. :)

  1. He should be permanetly incarcerated for the good of the public and his own safety. He’s going to give that performance in front of the wrong people and get himself injured or killed. This is a guy that needs free drugs for more than two years.

  2. Indecent conduct?   How about sexual abuse – there were children present.   Does being in a public place make it any different than being in private.

You know – put this guy in jail for life.  There are people in there who will appreciate his little performance I’m sure.
