LINCOLN – Naomi MacDonald Jordan, 61, passed away March 22, 2012, at a Bangor hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Sept. 20, 1950, in Lincoln, daughter of Harry and Annie (McNamara) MacDonald.

Naomi loved her daughters and grandchildren more than anything. She enjoyed gardening, her bird feeders and cooking. She also enjoyed the long-standing MacDonald family tradition of who could spot the first robin every spring.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Jordan and Missy Bean, both of Lincoln; two sisters, Margaret Cressey and her husband, Jim, and Juanita Solomon, all of Lincoln; six grandchildren, J.R. Jordan, Caitlyn Jordan, Nick Millett, Gabriel Bean, Hannah-Lynn Bean and Chris Bean; two nephews, Dickie and Jason Curtis, and their families; and close friends, Clarice Murchison, Gayle Munson, Cathy Spaulding, Dot White, June and Mary. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the father of her children, Maurice Jordan III.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 23, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Myles Cyr officiating. Interment will be later in the spring at Lincoln Cemetery.
