SHERMAN and PATTEN – Dorothea Irish Tozier, 103, died March 22, 2012, in Patten. She was born Feb. 22, 1909, in Crystal, the daughter of Cyrus and Flore (Perry) Irish.
Dot was a schoolteacher, retiring after 38 years in 1971. She loved going to camp with her children and grandchildren and of course, singing.
She leaves six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, John “Jack” Tozier; daughter, Dawn Tozier Fillmore LeVan Lambert; and son, Edwin and his wife, Shirley.
Friends may call noon-1 p.m. Monday, March 25, at Calvary Baptist Church, Stacyville, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. with the Rev. Donnie Willigar officiating.
