MADAWASKA – Geralda M. Plourde, 71, passed away April 3, 2012, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born June 22, 1940, in St. Anne, New Brunswick, daughter of the late Alderic and Agathe (Parent) Girard.
She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Michelle Plourde.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday at Lajoie Funeral Home. Spring interment will be held in the parish cemetery. For online condolences, please visit
