EDDINGTON – Roger J. Boudreau Sr., 68, passed away peacefully April 4, 2012, at home. He was born Nov. 26, 1943, in Bangor, the son of Melas and Delphine Boudreau.
Roger graduated from Bangor High School. After high school he served in the U.S. Army. He then worked for Maine Central Railroad for 36 years. Roger was known by many and loved by all. His smile brightened every room and everyone’s life that it touched. In his life he was a good son, a dependable brother, devoted husband, a loving father and father-in-law, and a caring papa to his grandchildren.
Roger will be missed by his beloved wife, Donna; sons, David and his wife, Vicki, Ricky and his wife, Deborah, and youngest son, Roger Jr.; and four grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Makayla and Brianna. Papa was everything to his grandchildren, as they were to him. We all love you! Roger was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Clarence; and his sister, Jeannette Sibley. Many thanks to the people of New Hope Hospice for the care and support they provided.
At Roger’s request, there will be no funeral service. It was his wish that friends and family would gather for a celebration of his life, which will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at 60 Sarina Drive, Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to New Hope Hospice, P.O. Box 757, Holden, ME 04429.
