BANGOR, Maine — The Bangor Garden Show opened for visitors Friday at the Bangor Auditorium.
The garden show will run through Sunday, April 8.
Hours are Friday, April 6, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, April 7, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday, April 8, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person, per day. Children under age 12 are admitted free.
Is there a fee to see these vendors selling there flowers? I never understood why there was an admission to these “Shows” so we can go in to look at what there are selling and possibly buy something. It is like charging to go into J C Penny to look at shoes. These vendors pay an exteme amount to the civic center folks anyway for floor space. Little wonder these are drying up.

Most definitely agree and four of us in Bangor this afternoon chose not to go because of the “admission” charge…..
