STANDISH, Maine — Police say two Maine men are hospitalized with serious head injuries after being beaten with a baseball bat and crowbar in a dispute over a woman.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department says 25-year-old Shane Wescott and his 29-year-old brother, Ryan, were attacked at 10:30 p.m. Friday at Shane Wescott’s home in Standish.
Police a short time later arrested 22-year-old Peter Tracy and 23-year-old Richard Nichols, both of Portland, as they were driving in Buxton. They are charged with aggravated assault and are being held on $25,000 bail.
Police say a third man who was assaulted when he tried to intervene told investigators that the alleged reason for the attack was that one of the victims is dating Tracy’s ex-girlfriend.

They call me “crowbar”, but I know enough to stay away from swingers.
A picture( of her) tells a thousand words.
Aint no woman worth that. Grow up boys maybe they will have time to in jail.
Ex-girlfriend. Emphasis on the EX part. Means it’s over boys, move on.
The author has written an excellent blog. You made your point and not much to discuss. It’s like this universal truth that you can not argue with the truth is not universal.
The modern cavemen?
abosolutely pathetic… i’m really hoping this is a sarcastic remark. or are you just miserable because of your personal history? either way try to keep your extremely demeaning, sexist, moronic and patheic comments to your self. I for one won’t tollerate such disgusting and tasteless comments, so do us ALL a HUGE favor and give your fingers and our minds and eyes a rest from your intelligence lacking, condescending statements. ..
Sincerely,
a PROUD n HONORABLE man.
Hope the “ex” has a PDW, she will be their next target. No mention of the cops looking after her, is there?
