BANGOR, Maine — A Curve Street man reported missing to Bangor police by worried family members Thursday reportedly called the police station Monday night to say that he is fine and is in Burnham.

“We’re pretty sure it’s him,” Bangor police Sgt. Larry Weber said Monday night. “We’re just waiting for confirmation from state police.”

Matthew Johnson, 32, had last been seen on April 1, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said in a news release issued Monday afternoon.

    1. Sometimes these stories do not have a happy ending.  The police need to do their job and ….they did.

    2. how would you like it if one of your family members didnt bother to let you know they were ok after being gone awhile not knowing where they were?
