SKOWHEGAN, Maine — The University of Maine Cooperative Extension will hold a series of five gardening courses beginning in May and ending in September.
Master Gardeners will teach participants how to care for a garden from start to finish.
The first session, on building a raised bed, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 10. A course about starting a garden will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 7.
There also will be courses in July, August and September.
The courses are free. To register, call the office at 474-9622 or 800-287-1495. Requests should be sent at least 10 days before the program begins.
