BRADFORD – Norma M. Nickerson, 77, passed away peacefully April 4, 2012, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born Jan. 24, 1935, in Reading, Mass., daughter of John F. Ames and Ruth Humphry.
Surviving is her loving husband of 59 years, Richard J. Nickerson; four children, Susan Shining-Star, John, Garry and Thomas Nickerson; five grandchildren, Crystal Cassavant, Elicia, Travis, Dillon and Alana Nickerson; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Eli Cassavant; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. April 15 at Williams Cemetery, Bradford. A celebration of life will be held after the service at Bradford Community Center.
