GARLAND – Maxwell C. Doore, 54, died unexpectedly April 8, 2012, at his home. He was born May 20, 1957, in Bangor, son of Maurice and Beverly (Cobb) Doore.
He graduated from Dexter Regional High School, class of 1976, and was a great soccer player. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. For the past 16 years he worked for Northeastern Log Homes, Kenduskeag.
He is survived by his wife, April (Estabrook) Doore; and his parents, all of Garland; four sisters, Rita West and her husband, Ronald, of Garland, Donna Merry and her husband, Gordon, of Newport, Brenda and Amy Doore, both of Garland; a brother, Mike Doore and his wife, Debbie, of Garland; several nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will be held 1-5 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the home of Mike and Debbie Doore, 392 Avenue Road, Garland. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Dexter. For an online guest register, go to
