BANGOR, Maine — Eighth-grade students from two local schools spruced up the Bangor Waterfront on Friday.
About 75 students from James F. Doughty School and William S. Cohen School picked up trash in the parking lot on the Bangor Waterfront as part of a service project.

Thank you Kids for the hard work and good job,
I throught the concerts paid the city to keep the area in tip top shape…
How much money did the city make on the concerts last year ?? Where is the money???
Thanks for cleaning up other people’s trash. Lord knows how hard it is to carry a piece of trash to a waste basket now a days.
Very hard obviously to some people
Thanks, Kids!!!
Finally, some good press for some great young men and women. Some day everyone will remember to take care of their own mess and not think they are above cleaning up after themselves.
Thank you for a great job done students. Hope you enjoyed the time off from school to do this. You guys deserve a vacation now
