MADAWASKA – Warrena A. Morin, 77, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012, at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born April 27, 1934, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Adrian and Delima (Plourde) Dube, also of Fort Kent.
She was a member of Madawaska Historical Society and American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 147, Madawaska, past District 7 president, and member of Madawaska Senior Citizens Center, Madawaska. She enjoyed genealogy, was an avid reader, enjoyed shopping and most of all going to McDonald’s to be with her friends.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronaldo Morin; six children, Debbie Gantnier and husband, Mike, of Madawaska, Rebecca Cyr and husband, Steve, of Van Buren, Gregory Morin and wife, Barbara, of Madawaska, Monique Morin of Madawaska, Jennifer Dionne and husband, Ron, of Grand Isle, Matthew Morin and wife, Jennifer, of Fairdealing, Mo.; and grandchildren, Randy and Rodney Devost, Jenna Pelletier, Brittany Pelletier, Emma Dionne, Taylor Pelletier, Alec Dionne, Adrianna and Cayden Morin. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Lorraine Wrzesinsky and husband, Ernie, of Naples, Fla., and Bernette Holway of Kittery; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one daughter, Jayne Lois; and one sister, Thelma (Dube) Picardi.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, where family and friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of service.
